Intervention Specialists Announces Expansion: David Brown & Philip Kelly Join Growing Team

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Intervention Specialists announced today the addition of Interventionists David Brown (LAC, BRI-I) serving the Midwest Region and Philip Kelly focusing on the Metro DC & Southeast Regions.

David Brown, Board-Registered Interventionist / LAC, BRI-I Hailing from the UK, David calls the Midwest home where he will be focusing his efforts, including Texas. David brings more than three-decades of active recovery to his work as a Licensed Addiction Counselor and Interventionist.

David joins Intervention Specialists as the Midwest Region’s latest addition to a growing team helping family recovery occur through invitational interventions.

David is a Board Member of AIS, the Association of Intervention Specialists, and his motto is ‘the only unsuccessful intervention is the one that does not take place’. He and his wife own and operate Avenues to Recovery, a leading Recovery Outpatient Program service provider near Kansas City, Missouri.

Philip Kelly, Primary Interventionist. Based near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Philip joins Intervention Specialists having completed more than 125 successful interventions helping families recover. Working from a passion to help for more than 20 years, Philip’s inspiration stems from having grown up in a large family that struggled with addiction for generations. His work today blends his own recovery with his ability to navigate the most challenging clients and provide help.

Philip remembers, “I entered treatment to make the consequences stop for awhile and what I discovered was a freedom from the way I had been living for so, so long. I love what I do today and work tirelessly helping families just like my own find hope and help through intervention.”
