Do-It-Yourself Touch Screen Repair

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Until I came to work for All4Cellular, I was walking around with a broken phone screen. It was still usable, but the screen was hard to read. I didn’t feel it was worth the money to get the screen fixed for nearly the price of getting a brand new phone.  There are some outside companies that claim to fix it for less than the phone company’s repair price, however, many are still expensive and some have horrible reputations. In general there are many things to be aware of when sending a phone off to an unknown company. For example there are fraudulent companies out there that will take your phone and not return it, have expensive phone parts replaced for cheap imitations, or claim you need more repairs than you actually need. I suggest you know what company you are dealing with before trusting your phone to anyone.

The best option you have out there is to buy a do-it-yourself kit and replace it yourself in no time. I personally have very little, if any experience when it comes to technology (I confess, I even had to google the word "Digitizer"). Bracing myself, I gathered my broken phone, the replacement digitizer, and a tool kit and sat myself in front of the computer.
The screen digitizer replacement kit isn’t very expensive and you can get great deals on the all4cellular website. Keep in mind though, that screen digitizers aren’t only for phones. There are digitizers for tablets, laptops, gameboys and pretty much any device that has a touch screen.

Most people have never heard of digitizer screens. If you haven’t, now you have.You have no excuses to walk around with that embarrassing cracked screen anymore! Now go get that fixed!
