Lifework Leadership Begins it’s 4th Year in Jacksonville

Aug. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- JACKSONVILLE, FL – (August 23, 2012) –  Transforming local leaders from the inside out in an effort to transform our city is the goal of one of the fastest growing leadership programs in North Florida.  Lifework Leadership is celebrating the beginning of their fourth year in Jacksonville.  This Fall, a diverse collection of local leaders will embark on their individual journey of transformation through the offering of the newest Lifework Leadership class.
Originally established in the Orlando area over twenty years ago, Lifework Leadership's desire is to develop a new generation of leadership that would live out their vision for transformed leaders who will impact their home, church and community.  Lifework Leadership has captured the attention of leaders across our country as new chapters are forming in many large cities.

The Lifework Journey is a nine month leadership development class that uses a Biblical worldview as their model. Many leadership organizations have an outcome of leadership networking, while Lifework Leadership goes much deeper with what is referred to as “leadership fellowshipping”. At each monthly half-day session, attendees walk through lessons that apply Christian principles to daily living, enjoy a case study review with an acknowledged Jacksonville city leader, and wrap up with an extraordinary National speaker (often published authors) who share deep and personal insights through the filter of calling and worldview on such subjects as courage, humility, relationship, generosity, and legacy.

Participants can expect to take this greater awareness of leadership calling and incorporate it into meaningful practical ways in three circles of influence --- their business, home, and church to make positive changes for our city.
Now approaching 100 of Jacksonville’s top CEO’s, spiritual and community leaders have joined Lifework Leadership, with a new class starting in September.  In addition to the classes, Lifework Leadership also hosts events including the recent Chick-Fil-A Leadercast, which brought world-class leaders such as, Urban Meyer, Tim Tebow, Soledad O’Brien, John Maxwell, Andy Stanley and more for a remarkable day of leadership training and inspirational talks.
