K-EARTH 101 To Give Away Ventura County West Mini Vacations In Upcoming On-Air Contest

Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, CALIF.--Los Angeles radio station K-EARTH 101 is giving away six overnight mini vacation packages to lucky winners during the week of September 24. The contest prizes, which include one-night stays at local hotels, is courtesy of the Ventura County Lodging Association (VCLA) and is part of VCLA's "Discover VenturaCountyWest" promotion.

   Prize winners will stay at one of VCLA member hotels or inns and then be treated to local entertainment, food and pampering. Contestants will call in during the K-EARTH 101 Morning Show and tell the on-air personalities about their favorite place or thing to do in Ventura County West (Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura). The winners will be announced on the show.

   Participating hotels include the Courtyard Marriott in Camarillo, Residence Inn in Oxnard, Four Points Sheraton in Ventura, Crowne Plaza in Ventura, Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach in Oxnard and Bella Capri Inn & Suites in Camarillo. "Each winner stays at a different location," says Victor Dollar, general manager of the Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor Resort and chair of the Ventura County Lodging Association. "And each will enjoy a different experience while staying in Ventura County West."  

   Depending on the package, winners will unwind with a massage at Spa by Diane Loring, receive a full access pass to the upcoming Ventura Comedy Festival, dine at Mandalay Beach's Capistrano's, breakfast at Old Town Cafe, receive a gift bag to the Camarillo Premium Outlets or a gift certificate for Bella Victorian Tasting Room or Twenty88 Wine Bar & Restaurant.

   "The contest is a way for K-EARTH listeners to learn about Ventura County West and enjoy the inspiring choices the area has to offer," says Dollar. "Gary Bryan and the rest of the K-EARTH 101 morning show will have a lot of fun with the promotion."
