Sampod4u.com Now Adds Nat King Cole To Singing Legends Page

Sept. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- NAT KING COLE was an American musician who first came to prominence as a leading jazz pianist. He owes most of his popular musical fame to his soft baritone voice, which he used to perform in big band and jazz genres. He was one of the first black Americans to host a television variety show, and has maintained worldwide popularity since his death. He set the standards for not only black musicians but for all musicians, and his name is always mentioned as one of the greatest singers in the history of music, jazz or otherwise. "King" is an appropriate tag on his name, for he surely was a king of the music world.

Meanwhile, Mr. DeVita has been very busy branching out, not only with the website, but with two other ventures. The first of these occurred in early July; a newly-published book about Icon Doris Day called "My 'Secret Love' Affair With Doris Day". The book is available in both paperback and kindle formats, especially through www.amazon. com. The author is very pleased with the fact that 12 of the readers have sent in five star reviews.

The other venture has been the inception of a new radiio station which can be heard on www.live365.com. The station is called "3M: Mike's Music Memories" and features mostly an eclectic approach to the greatest music of the 20th Century, and Beyond. It can be heard free (with a few ads) or with a paid VIP membership (no ads) on that site.  Listeners can also click right on to the station via widget on the sampod site. Mike says one of his goals with the new station is to feature not only all kinds of music but to also feature the music of artists not often heard anymore, some of them long forgotten.
