Sheet Music for the Piano: Free 'New Age' Pieces Offered by Quiescence Music

The owner of the site, Edward Weiss has been playing and teaching beginning adults how to play in the New Age piano style for over 15 years.

Here's what this 'new age' piano teacher says about his approach…

“I teach an improvisational approach to piano playing. But many of my students also want sheet music so I decided to create a site where I could post this and give piano music away for free."

The first piece of sheet music on the site is titled ‘November Sunrise.’ A description of the piece from the site … Celebrate cooler temps, crisp leaves and morning coffee with this one! ‘November Sunrise’ uses open position chords in both hands to create a wistful Fall mood.

Another piece titled 'Forest Piano' is in the Key of F Major and promises to take performers on a peaceful and serene journey into the forest. "Left-hand arpeggios combine with a poignant melody to make this an enjoyable piece," notes Weiss.
