Follow on Google News | Lennar Showcasing Alternative to Active-Adult Living in CharlotteSept. 29 “Easy Street” Event Highlights Lennar's Thoughtfully Designed, Low-Maintenance Homes for Active Adults
By: Lennar But not every active adult wants to have access to – let alone pay for – amenities like a golf course, dining club or round-the-clock social program. That’s why leading homebuilder Lennar has incorporated low-maintenance, ranch-style homes for homebuyers of any age into two of its Charlotte-area communities: “Lennar’s approach to active adult living is to offer a relaxed lifestyle at a tremendous value, without sacrificing great amenities or the option to choose from several beautiful homes,” said Jon Hardy, Lennar’s Charlotte division president. “Another key difference between us and the master-planned developments is the multigenerational aspect: in our communities, it’s not uncommon for a young family to live in the same neighborhood as the grandparents, because there are no age restrictions.” To showcase these offerings – which include low-maintenance home sites and ranch floor plans designed specifically with active adults in mind – Lennar is hosting “Easy Street,” an open house event at Carolina Reserve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29. Guests will have an opportunity to tour eight single-level home plans, meet with Lennar representatives and current residents, and enjoy barbeque and live music. Registered attendees will also have a chance to win a $500 gift card during the event. Homes in each community are ENERGY STAR® 3.0 certified and feature two to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and 1,686 to 2,776 square feet of living space. They also include Lennar’s signature Everything’s Included® program, which provides homeowners with luxury features such as granite countertops, GE® stainless steel appliances, Moen faucets and maple cabinetry as standard items in the home’s base price, with no surprises or hidden costs. With other builders such features are typically offered as upgrades, often adding thousands of dollars to the cost of the home. Located off of Jim Wilson Road just east of U.S. 521, Carolina Reserve is minutes from the Ballantyne area’s offices, shopping, dining and entertainment. Planned amenities include a clubhouse with fitness center and a pond with a dock; for recreation lovers there are several golf courses as well as the scenic Catawba River nearby. The ranch homes at The Meadows are priced from the $190s and include perpetual lawn care, ideal for worry-free living. Priced from the low $200s, Lawson is situated near the intersection of Cuthbertson and Providence roads, close to downtown Charlotte and great shopping and dining. Residents can enjoy a luxury clubhouse, fitness center, multiple pools, tennis courts and walking trails. Southern Trail will offer the same ranch floor plans as those on display at Carolina Reserve’s The Meadows, and perpetual lawn care is included here as well.
