Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania PAC Endorses Forrest

Sept. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Harrisburg, PA —Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania PAC, the state electoral arm of Planned Parenthood in Pennsylvania, has announced its endorsement of Elizabeth Forrest in Pennsylvania’s 189th House District race.
 “On behalf of the millions of Planned Parenthood patients and the 250,000 supporters in the Commonwealth, we are thrilled to support Elizabeth Forrest for the 189th District. She is a strong advocate of expanding health care access for
women and families in Pennsylvania,” said Sari Stevens, Executive Director. “At a time when women’s access to basic health care is under attack, Pennsylvanians need representatives like Elizabeth Forrest to fight for women and women’s
health and protect the crucial services that Pennsylvanian women and families need.”
As a state Representative, Forrest will continue to work to improve access to quality health care for women, support and protect a woman's right to choose, and invest in prevention programs, including family planning services and breast cancer screenings.

 “We are at a pivotal moment in Pennsylvania history to take control of the dire political situation and elect candidates that trust women to make their own healthcare decisions” said Stevens. “Support for Planned Parenthood and access to reproductive health services is not a democrat or republican issue. Elizabeth is the right choice for the voters of the 189th district.”

 The election will be held on November 6.

 The Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania PAC (PPPA PAC) was established in 1994 to elect candidates who advance the Planned Parenthood mission and improve support for reproductive rights among the Executive, Legislative, Municipal and Judicial branches of Pennsylvania government.
