Follow on Google News | Narconon Suncoast Rehabilitation Center Holds Charity Golf Tournament for Drug Rehab ScholarshipNarconon Suncoast Rehabilitation Center held its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament September 24th at the Silverthorn Country Club to raise funds for their Drug Rehabilitation Scholarship program.
By: Narconon Suncoast Rehab Center Derek Queener, Narconon Suncoast Rehab Center Withdrawal Administrator, graduate of the Narconon Program and golf enthusiast, spearheaded the very successful golf tournament fund raiser. “As a graduate of the Narconon program myself, I want to help others recover from their addictions so they too can go on to lead happy, productive drug free lives. Combining two of my passions – helping people beat their addictions and playing golf – makes me happy and bringing together friends, supporters, graduates and families all in support of this worthy goal is very rewarding,” says Queener. This first time charity event was honored by many prestigious sponsors who donated funds and prizes for the winners of the tournament: Ed Morse Auto Way New Port Richey, Postcard Mania, John King Morris/Super Skate, Novus Medical Detox, Natures Dynamics, Honka Automotive, Larry Trainer Printing, Say No To Drugs Race, Dixon Golf, The Weisenbergs, Baker & Baker Motorsports, Sober World, JOTO Public Relations, Progress Health & Fitness, Printing in a Box, drugrehab.org, Judy Queener Biggart, Dr. Robert Karol DMD-PA, Toucan Partners LLC, Modern Coin Mart, Michele Lloyd and many more. “We are thrilled by the success of our first charity golf tournament. The funds raised will help us in our goal to be able to help more people recover from addiction and especially those who are financially challenged in these tough economic times.
