Follow on Google News | Eurostar Timetables Hit By Engineering WorksDue to essential engineering works Eurostar timetables have been disrupted and passengers got bound for Paris and beyond this weekend. Many of the train’s routes have been cancelled from 29 Sept to October 1.

It is advised to check in at least 30 minutes before their new departure time to ensure travel. If any of the passengers miss the train due to timetable changes, the firm will entertain you under the compensation policy and many re-allocate next available service. Eurostar say that they have already notified about the engineering works in early July and changed the timetable accordingly. However, new services have been reallocated to the travelers who had booked before July. An additional check is been carried out by the Eurostar authorities for the passengers from Brussels, Lille and Calais and requested to allow extra 30 minutes after their arrival in the UK. The service to and from France and Spain have also been hit after a row erupted over working conditions. They also told that Brittany Ferries tickets would be accepted by P&O Ferries or My Ferry Link for customers who are traveling from Dover to Calais. In a statement on the company’s website explains: Brittany Ferries very much regrets the effect for the disruption on our customers but is hopeful that a resolution will be found soon, as the discussion with the unions are ongoing.
