By: www.horseshoeinsider.com We will have the best QB on the field and the best athlete in Braxton. I believe we have the better coach and pound for pound better players. The defense on the field is a wash, but I do believe that off the field the Spartans may have a slight edge. With the head coach being a defensive guru I have to believe in his heart he spend more time with the defense like Urban spends much of his time with the offense. With an up-and-coming team like Michigan State working hard to compete with the legendary Ohio State’s of college football it usually comes down to depth. Bigger programs like the Bucks may have second teamers that may be better than a starter. Michigan State has tremendous players as starters but if one of their guys goes down they may not have equal talent to replace the spot. I believe the Buckeyes will win the game in a tight one to the wire until late fourth quarter. Final score: 24-13. Even if my prediction does not work out in the BUCKS favor OHIO will still win. I say this because Michigan State has 27 native Ohio sons and 17 on their two deep roster. They also have 7 Ohio native coaches. Through my travels across the country and in some instances round the world playing college and professional football I realized Ohio is what they call a “Hot Bed” of football. Colleges across the country realize the talent that we have here in Ohio and they are excited that The Buckeyes can’t take them all! That means they have more of an opportunity to lure potential greats like Groveport’s Bell or Coffman’s Gardiner. Not to mention Mark Dantonio himself is a Buckeye in Spartan clothing. So sit back Saturday afternoon have fun with your friend and family and cheer for the Bucks. But remember no matter what the score is at the end of the game OHIO wins.
