The Rising Star Group Welcomes Rising Orlando Rapper Armstrong

Oct. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Rising Star Jabarus Nathan also known by his stage name as “Armstrong” will be hitting the radio, television, magazines, and blogs pretty soon. Born and raised in the Richmond Heights neighborhood of Orlando, FL, he didn’t have the luxury of music in his life as an escape from the average childhood drama of parents who just don’t understand. Raised in the classic, single parent household under the influence of generational poverty that all too often serves as a recipe for dysfunction and desperation. In 2003 he dropped his first mix tape entitled “Money Bag”. “Making music came easy and for me it was just a hobby,” he points out, although the project soon began to create a buzz in the Central Florida area.

Armstrong has been busy tuning up his craft and has already recorded 3 mixtapes in a home studio. His very successful mixtapes include “Vampire Life,” “Vampire Nation” and “Silence of the Lambz”. The mixtapes set the streets on fire and created a huge anticipation more music to come. Armstrong success of his mixtapes gave him the leverage to begin performing and headlining shows in front of packed houses throughout the state of Florida. Armstrong lyrical motivation comes from his testimonial upbringing. He has grown into a musical business man and is ready to take over the music industry. He will be explaining through music the very gritty part to the most glamorous part of his life journey.”  He will also incorporate the pain, passion, and peril of a life lived on the edge.

Armstrong is growing and reaching new heights with upcoming performances at the CMJ Music Marathon this October 16 - 20, 2012 in New York, NY. September 11, 2012 Armstrong released his 4th mixtape "Kold World, Kold Blood," hosted by DJ Holiday and DJ D-Strong download it today!
