Gentleman Jack's Rare Tennessee Whiskey Recognizes October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Oct. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Miami, FL.- Join the Jonathan Spikes Foundation as they help raise awareness and support Safespace Foundation during October, “Domestic Violence Awareness Month”. Safespace Foundation provides education, counseling, social services and empowerment programs to help their clients that are affected by domestic abuse. Proceeds from this year’s program will go towards programs administered by the Safespace Foundation.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and Safespace Foundation along with their supporters wants to increase awareness and to educate everyone about the perils of domestic violence and the affect it has on families, children, the workplace and our communities at large. The statistics are astounding, the amount of people living in abusive circumstances continues to rise in startlingly disproportionate numbers. The cycle cannot be broken if the masses continue to remain silent. Join the conversation and learn how to help eradicate domestic violence from our communities. “As long as we continue to remain silent the circle of violence will remain unbroken,” said Jonathan Spikes, Founder and President of the Jonathan Spikes Foundation. “We must continue to lift our voices and support organizations, like Safespace, who provide services for a population that suffers in silence…without a voice, without hope.”
