In addition, Bluetooth v4.0 speed and cadence sensors can now communicate with the newest upgrade. The app supports the pairing of up to two speed and cadence sensors for two different bikes, providing users with the flexibility to collect data on their daily commute as well as a long weekend ride, without the hassle of reformatting for different bicycles. BioLogic heart rate, speed and cadence sensors will be available for purchase Spring 2013 but standard sensors currently on the market utilizing Bluetooth 4.0 technology are also compatible with the upgrade. The additional functionality of connecting sensors allows users to auto start/pause/ The Sensor Compatibility update will be available as an in-app upgrade as part of the Training Module for a special introductory price of $0.99 or purchased as a bundle with the Social Sharing and Data Enhancements Modules for only $1.99. The Sensor Compatibility update to the Training Module will be available for purchase from the iTunes app store on Wednesday, October 10. In addition to the latest app release, all users are able to create a profile and access user manuals on the newly launched www.BikeBrain.net. The website is designed to create a community for BikeBrain users to share information related to their BikeBrain experience through forum discussions and user-generated content. BikeBrain is also the official iPhone app for the CLIF Bar 2 Mile Challenge, a competition to support the efforts of non-profit organizations committed to the future of biking.
