Ashworth College Rolls Out Veterinary Assistant Training Program Updates

Ashworth College is rolling out content revisions to its online Veterinary Assistant Training program. The revised course will give students more emphasis on job opportunities, as well as animal emergency care, nutrition and dentistry.

The U.S. Department of Labor projects that job opportunities for veterinary assistants will increase as much as 14% by 2010, making this a highly desirable field.

The Ashworth College veterinary assistant training course is comprised of Ashworth’s popular Introduction to Study Skills unit and 22 online lessons that are easy to follow yet challenging and applicable in the real world. Each lesson begins with a subject matter preview and objectives, an introductory note from your instructor, and a vocabulary builder of new words and terms.
