October 15, 2012 -- Groton, MA -- Groton Community School will host its 8th annual Community Home Tour on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Doors open at the school for vendor shopping and program guide pick-up at 9 a.m. Since 2004, the Groton Community Home Tour has offered an up close look at some of the most distinctive and historical private homes in the area. The 2012 Tour continues this tradition by featuring the interior and exterior of five unique homes located in Groton, including an antique center chimney colonial that integrates modern and historical sensibilities and a breathtaking contemporary equipped with a wine cellar, movie theatre and stunning pool area. Offerings from more than twenty local artisans and merchants will once again be showcased at each home and at the school, providing a unique opportunity for holiday gift shopping. Tickets for the 8th annual Community Home Tour are now on sale and can be purchased at the following locations: Groton Community School, 110 Boston Road, Groton Kimball Farm, 400 Littleton Road, Westford Lavender, 137 Main Street, Groton Rose of Sharon, 101 Pleasant Street, Dunstable Advance tickets for the tour are $25 per person or $35 per person, including a boxed lunch from the Country Butcher and Deli.
