Taking Action on Cancer, Walk / Run Howth Peninsula Sunday 21st October 2012 at 2pm

This Sunday 21st October 2012 at 2pm the annual Taking Action on Cancer Howth Peninsula Family Walk  / Fun Run will aim to inspire hundreds of people to make changes in their lifestyle to reduce their cancer risk factors. It is known that cancer risk can be reduced by up to 1/3 by making significant lifestyle changes such as consuming a diet suited to your nutritional requirements, increasing your activity and by maintaining a healthy body composition.

This Sunday we want to promote this message and encourage everybody to come to the Deer Park Hotel in Howth, Co. Dublin to participate in the Taking Action on Cancer Howth Peninsula Family Walk (2pm) / Run (3pm). This is a family friendly event, the route is pram friendly and dogs on a leash are most welcome.

Registration begins in the Deer Park Hotel Golf and Spa from 1pm where our local piper will lead our community down the drive at 2pm. Refreshments and music will commence at 4pm.
