Menus in Ireland see big changes

When going out to dinner 68% of survey respondents say they would absolutely take nutritional information into consideration when placing their order. These insight shows that restaurant patrons are attracted to becoming more health conscious and are demanding to be more informed of their food choices.  This result is further backed up by RTE’s Operation Transformation programme, featuring some of healthpro clients who have calories on their menus and praising their efforts. The “count me in campaign” which coincides with the programme, asks people to say “count me in” to restaurants displaying this information on menus, so far the facebook page has over 25,000 fans and growing.
