Scott Clifford of Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford Joins Ellie Fund Board

Oct. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Scott Clifford, partner at Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford, P.C. based in Hanover, recently joined the Board of Directors of the Ellie Fund, a Needham-based nonprofit that works to fight breast cancer and ease its effects on patients and families by providing transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping, groceries and meals free of charge to more than 500 women and family members across Massachusetts each year.

Clifford’s involvement with the Ellie Fund began more than two years ago, when he heard about the organization after a friend of his was diagnosed with Stage Two Breast Cancer, and mentioned the Ellie Fund as a way to help support those in the area who are suffering from breast cancer.  Since that time, he has competed in two triathlons, and with his “Real Men Wear Pink” team, has raised more than $25,000.



In addition, earlier this year Clifford’s law firm Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford spearheaded fundraising efforts for “Twive & Receive,” a national one-day Twitter-based fundraising contest hosted by the Razoo Foundation.  Together with dedicated local volunteers, companies, and “Twitterati,” they raised $53,089 in the twenty-four-hour period, making the non-profit organization the first place winner of $15,000 in prize money from the Razoo Foundation, the host of the contest.
