Follow on Google News | ISOS Group teams up with VOX Global to offer GRI Training in DC!SAN DIEGO, CA- ISOS Group, announces that it plans to team up with communications strategy firm VOX Global based in Washington, D.C. to conduct a GRI Certified Sustainability Reporting Course.
By: ISOS Group The course, scheduled for January 17-18, 2013, will build upon the core set of sustainability reporting material approved by GRI. For the first time ever, VOX will team with ISOS to provide practical advice on how to foster buy-in from executives, engage stakeholders and maximize communication channels to engage a broader audience. VOX brings its experience of working with some of the country’s top brands to enhance their reporting and accelerate their sustainability program. All our trainings are unique in that they are infused with the experiences of each individual trainer, engaging dialogue with participants and top-notch cadre of guest speakers that give real life examples of how they applied the GRI methodology for sustainability reporting. At the end of the training, participants will receive certificates directly from the Global Reporting Initiative. “As more companies align with the GRI, they’re also looking for new ways to communicate their environmental and social data in order to engage a wider audience and achieve a competitive advantage,” commented Tony Calandro, Partner at VOX Global. “We’re thrilled to be teaming with ISOS Group to present a course that tackles both the basics of the GRI and communications.” “The shear scope of those who have completed the training over the last few years is a testament to the flexibility of the GRI Guidelines, which can be applied to any size organization to track and report upon their environmental, social and economic impacts.” Nancy Mancilla, ISOS Group Co-Founder With over 700 people from across the United States having gone through the training delivered by ISOS, the need for professionals with a deeper understanding of GRI’s reporting methodology continues to grow, particularly as the world prepares for the release of the G4 Guidelines.
