Thriller NYC Zombies Crawl out of their Coffins to Dance on GingerNewYork, MNN TV Studios, NYC

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Since 2004, the dancers of Thriller NYC have celebrated their combined love of gore and Michael Jackson by performing the Thriller dance in the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. These dancing zombies come from all different backgrounds, very few of which have any professional dancing experience. Thriller NYC zombies have been as young as 13 and as old as 65.  Anyone can join Thriller NYC, but it is on a first come first serve basis - the first 100 zombies to register make the cut. Registration is done online, typically the first day of October at noon.  In 2012, the Thriller spots filled in 90 seconds, and by 12:05 they had over 200 on the wait list. http://thrillernyc.com Thriller NYC is run by Erin Earley and Carolyn Kelly.

Erin Earley is an Event Planner at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.  She lends here event planning expertise to the Thriller NYC Group.  She lives in New Jersey with her husband and four rescued pit bulls.  

Carolyn Kelly, originally from Plano, Texas, is now residing in New York City.  Ms. Kelly is pursuing her career as a performing artist of modern and contemporary dance.  She is married to Keith Kelly, an architect, and they live on the Upper West Side with their dog, Calvin.  This is Carolyn’s third year as the Zombie Dancing Queen for Thriller NYC.

Ms. Broderick completed her TV Producer’s Certification at Manhattan Neighborhood Network in November, 2010 and launched her own talk/variety show, GingerNewYork. Segments of the show are aired LIVE at the MNN studios and taped at the Gibson Guitar showroom/Rehearsal Studios in New York City.

Broderick is a faculty member of Queens College/CUNY Continuing Education Program.
Broderick obtained a B.S. degree in accounting from St. John’s University in New York City and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.
