Del Monte Shopping Center to Hold Special Holiday Tree Lighting Event on Saturday, November 17th

November, 2012, Monterey, CA.  On Saturday, November 17th, Del Monte Shopping Center will hold a free very special holiday tree lighting event from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The community is invited to come out and enjoy live holiday entertainment by Eight Second Ride, delicious cookies and hot cocoa, and a visit from Santa himself as he magically lights the center’s 25-foot holiday tree adorned with lights and decorations. The event will also support the Food Bank of Monterey County. If attendees bring three cans of food, they will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win gift cards to their favorite store.   The festivities will take place in the garden courtyard near Macy’s.

Del Monte Shopping Center features more than 75 unique shops, restaurants and eateries, plus Macy’s, Whole Foods Market and Century Theatres. The spacious, open-air shopping center offers comfortable seating, beautiful landscaping, and ample parking for its shoppers.
