Frank Sinatra Tribute Artist Creates Nostalgia Trip for Seniors at The Cedars of Dexter

The man with a thousand voices, Michael Carluccio took 80 senior residents of Dexter, Michigan back to the fifties and sixties with Frank Sinatra’s most memorable hits.

Nov. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Dexter, MI – Executive Director of the Cedars of Dexter, Terri Hamad praised Carluccio’s 1 Man Legends Show as one of the best entertainment performers.  “Everyone at some point in Michael’s tribute to Sinatra went back to younger days when they heard his songs live on the radio,” added Terri.

From the table closest to the sound equipment, a happy listener asked if, “Is he really singing or are you dubbing the voice?”  As soon as she learned that it was Carluccio’s voice she was listening to, the surprised lady shared her astonishment with everyone who could hear her at the table, “That’s him!  That’s him singing.”

The audiences heard other favorite tunes from Carluccio’s list like Tony Bennett’s “San Francisco,” Bobby Darin’s “Beyond the Sea,” and “Mack the Knife,” and then the leader of the Rat Pack, Dean Martin’s “The Naughty Lady,” and “Everybody Loves Somebody.”

In between certain songs, Carluccio would reprise well-known comedians of early radio and television, such as, George Allen, the Rat Pack and some of today’s notable characters like Rocky Balboa, Tiger Manager, Jim Leland and the terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Michael Carluccio’s favorite audience attention-getter was walking amongst the seniors and serenading individuals with the spotlight focusing on the blushing dinner guests as they would try not to be embarrassed.

With every number, Michael tries to embrace his audience, the young and the young at heart, encouraging generation after generation and then encourages them to tap their feet to the rhythms or to laugh and just smile.

“In our topsy-turvy world, I want to recreate a nostalgia with the very best of these iconic artists for my audience listeners who then summon their own personal memories of the good ole days.”

As a former U.S. Marine Sergeant, Michael has close ties with the troops and loves to perform for the armed forces and their families, whenever he can.  With a golden, baritone voice and wide vocal range, a quick comedic wit and warm personality, Michael romances his audience and leaves them, wanting more!

No stranger to the big stage, Michael has opened for Las Vegas acts such as Al Martino, Bobby Vinton and Connie Francis.  But Mike still keeps the memory of his favorite  performances as the opener for the Scintas Las Vegas show at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.

Michael is an actor, model as well as a vocalist. He is also a songwriter and recording artist. He has performed on radio and television, in movies and on stage. As a model, Michael has been seen in many prestigious magazines, i.e., HOUR Magazine, Michigan Entertainment (ME) Magazine; Fitness commercials, Providence Hospital medical network.
