Flagler Beach, FL - The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is accepting applications for the Holiday at the Beach Parade, Saturday, December 8th.

Thanks to our Santa Sponsor Brighthouse, the much anticipated Santa will parachute onto the beach at 1PM.  The parade will start immediately after “touchdown”.  Santa will jump on the back of the Flagler Beach Fire Department Fire truck as he welcomes in the Holiday Season in Flagler County.  The parade, as well as the Parachuting Santa, is a tradition in Flagler County and we invite all organizations and businesses to participate.  

There will be a performance area at the intersection of A1A and SR100 and groups or marching bands are invited to perform.  The parade route runs from A1A North at 6th Street to A1A South at 6th Street.  The application can be filled out online at www.FlaglerBeachRotary.org.  Questions can be emailed to info@ FlaglerBeachRotary.org.  

On Friday evening, join the City of Flagler Beach for Music in the Park with Christmas music and the lighting of the Christmas tree in Veteran’s Memorial Park. There will be lots of children’s activities and vendors from 6p-9p.

About the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach:  The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach was chartered in November 1991 and currently has 32 members; we are part of Rotary District 6970.

Our membership is a most compatible group of local business and community leaders from the fields of business, law, education, real estate, and government; including those who have retired from successful pursuits in these fields. During the winter, our attendance swells with the coming of our Snow-Birds. All are welcome, of course, and are included in all our social and civic activities. Our Program Speakers typically address a variety of interesting and important topics.
