Former General Counsel of Gold Circle Films Joins MS&K

Nov. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Adam R. Mehr, former EVP, business affairs and general counsel of Gold Circle Films has joined Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP as of counsel in its Los Angeles office.  He will be a member of the firm’s and Entertainment & New Media and Corporate & Business Transactions practices. A veteran of the film business, Mehr has also held executive and management roles at Gaylord Films/Pandora, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.

Since joining Gold Circle in 2003, Mehr oversaw the company's day-to-day matters involving worldwide business and legal affairs. An independent motion picture company, Gold Circle finances, develops, acquires, produces, and distributes two to three motion pictures annually. In his role with the company, he was also responsible for negotiating deals covering all aspects of development, production, and distribution of the films, music publishing, foreign sales, and other matters.

         At MS&K, he will represent individuals and companies in a variety of entertainment-related business, financial, and legal matters, including financing, development, acquisition, production and distribution of theatrical motion pictures, television movies and series, home video/DVD, interactive/video game projects and new media.  Mehr will advise entertainment company clients on a wide range of issues affecting their business, including corporate, labor and employment, and real estate issues, arbitrations and litigation, and the global protection of intellectual property.
