Shining Hope for families of missing in Utah

Nov. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 12:00 noon families of missing will gather in Midvale, Utah at the Days Inn Lake City, 7251 Cottonwood St., to honor and bring awareness of their missing loved ones.  The event is open to the public and all families of missing.  Media is encouraged to attend.  Stephanie Cook, daughter of missing Bobbi Ann Campbell, recognized the need that so many families of missing need to bond together to help bring awareness to the public of their missing loved ones.  

Campbell went missing on December 27, 1994 when Stephanie was a young girl. Cook says, "There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about my mother and it is especially hard during the holidays."  Knowing other families are feeling the same pain, Cook decided that having a yearly awareness event is a good way for families to get together and to share memories and photos of their missing loved ones.  She encourages anyone who wishes to have a table to contact her at dixon9314@gmail.com.  Attendees are asked to bring a dessert as "pot luck" refreshments will be served. A balloon release will also be a part of the event. The public is also invited to come and help support the families.
