Wild Blue Holds 2nd Annual Christmas Wreath Fundraiser

Nov. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is holding their 2nd  annual Christmas Wreath Fundraiser now through Dec. 22nd.

Wreaths are priced between $35-$40 and this year there are two, easy options to make your purchase. The first is to buy directly from Wild Blue at the sanctuary or during our weekend PetCo adoption events.

The second option is to purchase online from Christmas Forest.

People who wish to order online may simply go to the Christmas Forest website.  Visit http://www.Christmasforest.com.  Add wreaths to the order cart and enter WILDBLUE in the club code field at checkout.

Christmas Forest is located near Seattle, Washington and all wreaths are shipped fresh via free UPS ground service.

“These fresh wreaths not only make a beautiful addition to your indoor or outdoor holiday decorations,” said Lauri Cross, Executive Director of Wild Blue. “They also make a wonderful and thoughtful gift to send to family and friends located out of state, plus Wild Blue will receive $10-$11 each from the direct sales and $3-$5 each from online sales.”

Wild Blue also has an ongoing fundraiser with Cards for Causes. If you purchase your holiday cards from Cards for Cause online at www.cardsforcauses.com and select Wild Blue as your charity, the sanctuary will get 20% back of the proceeds! You can even elect to include a statement on your cards that your purchase supports Wild Blue. “They also have year-round selections for birthdays, thank you, anniversaries, etc. It’s always good to have cards on hand,” said Cross.

Since opening in 2010, Wild Blue has rescued more than 250 dogs and cats. The number of cats highly outweighs the number of dogs with more than 230 cats rescued and adopted out. 2012 has seen the number of dogs and cats rescued at over 120 so far, with nearly all of those animals being cats.

Wild Blue also has an active foster program with nearly 25 animals currently being served. “There are a lot of animals out there who need saving and that’s what we’re all about,” said Cross.
