Remy cuticle hair is the finest quality you can find for any hair type. Remy Cuticle hair means that all the cuticles are sorted in the same direction, making it tangle free hair that is easy to brush comb, and style and that all the cuticles are intact which makes it less likely to tangle, is more durable and reflects a natural shine. There are plenty of companies out there selling ‘100% human hair’ and less than 50% of it is natural human hair, there is no regulation and it’s a shame because people can be duped into spending money on inferior products.

Simone, What Is The Other Hair Extension Method You Use Exclusively At MWAH?

We use the Cold Fusion Bonding method at MWAH which is a new and gentler method of application to the hair. This method uses a keratin-based polymer to attach extensions to the root. As this method uses no heat, it is very good for fine or thin hair. The polymer offers more flexibility than hot-glue, and results in more natural-feeling hair. The cold fusion procedure is a new technology that utilises ultrasound waves rather than heat to bond each extension to existing hair. The absence of heat allows us to bond extensions closer to the scalp, which creates a more invisible bond. Cold Fusion is also the preferred method when bonding extensions to coloured or chemically treated hair, because it is so gentle.

The earlier hot fusion method requires a special heated tool known as a hot fusion connector to melt the bond into the hair for it to adhere securely. The tool will not allow for extensions to be added near the scalp due to the heat. With cold fusion, however, the bond is attached with a polymer that isn't affected be heat. Cold fusion will allow for addition of extensions in the front of the head. With cold fusion, you can wash and style your hair as you normally would.

Other benefits include adding more volume to thinning hair. Women experiencing alopecia, like I have done in the past, can now have hair extensions bonded directly to their fragile and thinning hair, effectively filling out the scalp with beautiful real hair. In addition, topical hair re-growth solutions such as minoxidil can still be applied without concern. One especially wonderful benefit of this new Cold Fusion technology due to its ability to bond very close to the scalp, is helping chemotherapy patients feel like themselves again, while looking more normal.
