Follow on Google News | Edmonton SIGNARAMA Shows Signs of Support for Community OrganizationsEdmonton SIGNARAMA launches the fourth annual Signs of Support, to provide $10,000 of free or discounted signage to local nonprofits. Applications will be accepted until March 30, 2013.
By: Edmonton SIGNARAMA Signs of Support is focused on supporting groups’ missions through replacement or creation of effective, affordable signage. Groups can request signs for events and can include interior or exterior, temporary or permanent needs. Businesses are eligible to apply for the Signs of Support program if they are a local nonprofit organization, local affiliate of registered charities, local non-government civic organization or part of the Edmonton public school system. “From the onset of our business, we have tried to be good stewards to the Edmonton community,” said Colin Reid, owner of Edmonton SIGNARAMA. “It is exciting to offer this grant again and to see the many great organizations in Edmonton – who are all worthy of support – come forward.” Last year, nine area non-profit organizations were awarded with free or discounted signage and services. Recipients included: Kids Kottage; The Mark Mercier Foundation; Al Shamal Shrine; KARA Family Resource Centre; Canadian Paraplegic Association; Edmonton SIGNARAMA is accepting applications through March 30, 2013.
