Joslyn Pennywell from America's Next Top Model Talks "Breaking Into The Industry in Louisiana"

Joslyn Pennywell, an  America ’s Next Top Model (ANTM) contestant has glamour, beauty, style, personality and sportsmanship all in one. Is that even possible? The answer is yes when using these words to relate to Joslyn Pennywell.

Pennywell has such a diverse background that one can’t help but to be impress with her. She was determined to be a professional model and was willing to give the best of herself to become one. Prior to  America ’s Next Top Model experience, where most of us were first introduced to her, Pennywell was unfortunately involved in a modeling reality show scam. The producer’s goal was to exploit contestants for his own gratification. Although this was a distressing experience, Pennywell persevered and continued pursing her career in modeling.

Given her level of determination and dedication, it’s no surprise that Pennywell auditioned for  America ’s Next Top Model 33 times before making it in 2008 on cycle 11. Knowing that she wanted and deserved to be a contestant on ANTM, she traveled the  U.S.  auditioning for the show in places such as  Arkansas, Tennessee,  Los Angeles, and  Louisiana, before finally making it on the show. After making it on the show, Pennywell really let her talent shine and, although she did not win, the shows Producer, Tyra Banks, was incredibly impressed by Pennywell’s perseverance, determination and modeling skills.

Since becoming a celebrity, Pennywell has dedicated much of her time to giving back to the community through various charities. ANTM has been Joslyn’s spring-board into the modeling and entertainment stratosphere. Although cycle 11 is over, this top model’s career is far from it.
