This year's juror is George Nick, a renowned Concord-based artist and professor emeritus, Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA. Mr. Nick’s work is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Hirschhorn Museum and Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington DC, among others. The opening reception for the exhibit is Sunday, January 13, 2-4:00pm. At 3pm, the Association will award $1,000 in prizes including the Jean Koch prize. The Concord Art Association is located at 37 Lexington Road, Concord, MA 01742. Gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday 10:00am–4: Since 1917, the Concord Art Association has promoted and advanced contemporary art through exhibitions, lectures and educational programming. In addition, it also maintains a small permanent collection of some of the 20th century's leading artists including that of its founder, the Impressionist painter, Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts. End
