Trans-Media Branding Guru to Speak at SundanceKellie Koppel, creator of the trans-media project "It's So LA" is scheduled to speak at the Film Forum hosted by the Independent Film Makers Lounge during the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in association with producer and author Adam Leipzig.
By: Arcana Films Mr. Leipzig will present an “Inside Track for Indie Filmmakers” and Ms Koppel will follow with “Strategic Promotion and Branding for Indie Filmmakers”. The two bring many decades of independent filmmaking experience to the forum film, both as producers and consultants. They share their journey and expertise with a lively, heartfelt, informative interaction. Mr. Leipzig has been involved as a producer, distributor or supervising executive on more than 25 films as diverse as March of the Penguins (from his years as president of National Geographic Films), Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Dead Poets Society, and Titus. He has worked with the top A-list actors and filmmakers and now brings his insight as an independent advisor, to provide informed guidance, dealmaking intelligence and relevant connections for prestige media companies and creative entrepreneurs needing access to Hollywood expertise. Ms. Koppel, is an actress, producer and strategic brand/PR consultant residing in Los Angeles, has had multiple projects scene at the Cannes Film Festival, and has been eager to share her insights with other indie artists. Her current project, a trans-media digital property called “It’s So LA”, spotlights what it takes to "live the dream" in Los Angeles. It consists of original digital scripted and sketch content, brand integration and, live event production which brings the “LA Experience” to any event. At the end of the month, Arcana Films will launch a one hour live streaming in studio show as the next facet of the brand, which Ms. Koppel will host.
