Recently, the 5th Annual Cancer Awareness Walk was conducted at Sharda University and it led to participation from students of different departments. The cancer walk is an annual event conducted every year to sensitize the public about the life of a cancer patient and how cancer as a disease can be dealt with collective work of society. Students prepared eye-catching and emotive banners, posters and pamphlets to distribute it at different sites during the long walk from their college campus to several notable places in the city.

Similarly, a seminar on the formation and future of Universe was conducted by an acclaimed faculty from USA who has taught in several reputed universities all across the globe. Just like other guest lectures, this seminar also witnessed participation in huge numbers from students who were excited and enthusiastic to learn about the Universe and its mysteries.

Besides the above mentioned events, cultural fests including specific competitions for arts and sciences like inter and intra-university dance fests, drama & skit events and science exhibitions are conducted on a frequent basis to keep students engaged in extracurricular activities. It is to be noted that these events become the foundation stone for budding talents in their respective fields to showcase the potential in their work.
