Las Vegas Legends Entertainer Ready to Blow the Doors Off Gino’s Surf in Harrison Twp

Arriving February 2, at the mid-point of his Las Vegas Tribute Artist Tour, Michael Carluccio will headline the list of performers and sing some of the audience’s favorite Tony Bennett and Tom Jones hits.

Jan. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, NV – Also known as the “Man with a Thousand Voices,” Michael Carluccio has agreed to flex his vocal muscles with Tony Bennett classics, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” "Fly Me to the Moon" and “I Wanna Be Around.”

Bennett staged a remarkable comeback in the late 1980s and 1990s, putting out gold record albums and expanding his audience to the MTV Generation while keeping his musical style intact. He remains a popular and critically praised recording artist and concert performer today.  Bennett has won 17 Grammy Awards (including a Lifetime Achievement Award, presented in 2001) and two Emmy Awards, and has been named an NEA Jazz Master and a Kennedy Center Honoree.

For a musical balance, Carluccio will shake his audience up with hits from Tom Jones that will put everyone in the mood to rock and roll:  "She's a Lady" and "What's New Pussycat."

Known by his stage name Tom Jones, Sir Thomas John Woodward, became one of the most popular vocalists to emerge from the British Invasion. Since the mid-1960s, Jones has sung nearly every form of popular music – pop, rock, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul and gospel – and sold over 100 million records.

Jones has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1966, an MTV Video Music Award in 1989 and two Brit Awards – winning Best British Male, in 2000, and Outstanding Contribution to Music, in 2003. He received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for "services to music" in 2006.

Carluccio agrees that imitation is the best form of flattery.  Yet, Mike has the distinction of being the hardest entertainer in the business to imitate because of his wide range of voices and ability to magically transport his audience to the past through music.
