Taking advantage of a recent change in New Jersey laws, Domenico Winery was the first out-of-state winery to open salesrooms to sell their California wines in BYOB restaurants and Tasting Rooms. The new law, effective in May 2012, also allows direct shipments to customers. Domenico Winery salesrooms in BYOB restaurants have been licensed in Clark (Bistro 1051), Madison (Rob’s Bistro), Millburn (Basilico), Montclair (Palazzo), Morristown (J&K Steakhouse), Red Bank (Gaetano’s) The founder of Domenico Winery, Dominick Chirichillo, founded his winery in 2005 as a result of making wine in his grandfather’ Dominick’s long time wish – to share his award winning Italian varietal wines with those living in his home state of New Jersey is coming true. Dominick grew up in New Jersey and founded the Bacchus Winemaking Club in Toms River before moving his family to California to continue his winemaking career and open his winery. Now he has returned to his roots and plans to open the maximum 16 salesrooms allowed by the State of New Jersey.
