Domenico Winery San Carlos awarded TWO SILVER medals in 2016 Toast of the Coast Wine Competition

SAN CARLOS, Calif. - March 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Del Mar, California — Domenico Winery in San Carlos, CA was awarded Two Silver Medals for its:

-2011 Mambo Italiano, CALIFORNIA Red Wine

-2011 Primitivo, Amador County

by the Toast of the Coast Wine Competition in Del Mar, California. This year’s competition included 694 wines from the U.S. and Mexico. Wines were judged by a four-panel consisting of one wine writer, one winemaker, one professional sommelier, and one wine marketer.

Judging took place February 20th and 21st and winners were announced February 26th.

The Toast of the Coast Wine Competition selects the best wine from each state, county and/or region as merited with one extremely awesome wine selected as the “The Toast of the Coast,” our Best of Show award. Award levels are Silver, Gold and Double Gold.  The Toast of the Coast gives wineries an opportunity to sell their award-winning wine. They buy our wines to serve at the Festival and at other events hosted at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, including the legendary Del Mar Thoroughbred Horse Races. The annual Toast of the Coast Wine Festival highlights unlimited wine tastings, culinary creations, exhibits, and more! Domenico Winery is so excited and proud to take home two Silver Medals for our 2011 Mambo Italiano & 2011 Primitivo.
