Follow on Google News | ![]() Award Winning Magician Meets His Baseball Namesake On National TelevisionAward winning magician and speaker, Mitch Williams, recently met the baseball player by the same name during a phone interview on national television.
"I had to laugh when a producer from the MLB Network called to ask me to do an interview," says Williams (the magician, not the ball player), "Mitch (the ball player, not the magician), known to his fans as 'Wild Thing', was a lot of fun to chat with, and he joked that he was an 'illusionist' who could make leads disappear real quick." Though he doesn't play baseball, Williams is by all accounts highly talented off the field. He's a full time professional magician and speaker who has performed in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, and Lake Tahoe, as well as in Japan, Canada and Europe. He's been recognized by his peers internationally as an expert at his particular style of magic. He also does inspirational speaking programs in which he uses his magic to illustrate main points, to educate, and inspire. His corporate clients include Hallmark Cards, Merrill Lynch, Kraft Foods, Caterpillar, and Nissan Motors of Japan. A video of his conversation with that other Mitch Williams can be found at: http://mlb.mlb.com/ To learn more about Mitch Williams (the magician that is), his various entertainment and speaking programs, or to schedule an interview, visit his entertainment website: http://www.mitchwilliamsmagic.com, his speaking website: http://www.mitchinspires.com, or he can be contacted directly by email at mitch@mitchwilliamsmagic.com.
