School Of Martial Arts Moves to Expand Offerings

Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- With a mission statement of “We Inspire Excellence”, an affiliate School of Martial Arts USA has taken the next step to insure that students Downriver continue to be taught Self-confidence, Martial art Skills and Character Education.

“The Wyandotte location simply couldn’t hold our students any longer”, said owner Allen Tackett, “ So we moved to our new, larger building at 13060 Eureka Road in Southgate, Michigan as of October 30, 2012. Because of the move, we can now accommodate new students and programs.”

The focus of the school will continue to be on student achievement. "I have never seen anything like this school. I can see myself getting more confident with each and every class" – said student Jason.

Classes are designed so that goals are achieved and each students needs are met. Instructors are certified and continue to train and attend workshops to further their skills.

Headquartered in Dearborn Heights, but serving individual communities in the Downriver area, the School of Martial Arts USA- Southgate facility looks forward to many more years at the larger location to train aspiring martial art masters as well as additional new students.

They were recently featured on WBA: IN FOCUS cable show as they are currently conducting a Wounded Warrior Project which is designed to teach disabled Veterans self defense techniques that can be done from a wheelchair or with prosthetic limbs. They also give talks to seniors on ways to protect themselves.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is in the works for February.
