Valentine's Day Dinner for Sweethearts at the Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store

Jan. 31, 2013 - PRLog -- Chatham County, NC - The Pittsboro Roadhouse & General Store is hosting its first Valentine's Day Dinner for Sweethearts on Thursday February 14, 2013 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. at 39 West Street, just west of Courthouse Circle.

In addition to the regular dinner menu which will also be available on February 14, guests can choose the special Valentine's Day Dinner for Sweethearts priced for two.

The menu was carefully chosen to accommodate different eating preferences, including Steak, Chicken, Salmon, Tofu, and one Meat and Tofu-Free entree. They offer a Shared Appetizer for Two with three choices; a House Salad; a choice of five Entrees; and a Shared Dessert Sampler for Two with chocolate desserts.

Executive Chef Greg Lewis, the owner, and his wife Maria Parker-Lewis, look forward to welcoming couples to a very special evening. "We put great care into the Pittsboro Roadhouse and the events we host," said Greg Lewis. "We really try give our guests a wonderful time."

Greg Lewis is also the owner and operating manager of Catering By Design, one of Raleigh's premier catering companies serving the whole Triangle region of North Carolina. In 2012, Catering By Design received two Pinnacle Awards, one for growth, and a prized one for Customer Service Excellence sponsored by First Citizens Bank.

February 17, 2013 will mark the Pittsboro Roadhouse's 6th month anniversary since it opened August 17, 2012.

The Pittsboro Roadhouse features a gifts and crafts shop, with handmade work from mostly local artisans, including pottery, elegant aprons, rugs, jewelry and paintings. They also have infused cooking oils, coffees, teas, and flavored sugars and salts.

The restaurant space at 39 West Street includes a spacious front dining area with floor to ceiling windows, the gift shop, a spacious and bright lounge area with WIFI, and a rear dining area between the bar and the stage.
