Follow on Google News | Valentine's Day Dinner for Sweethearts at the Pittsboro Roadhouse & General StoreFor its first Valentine's Day, February 14, 2013, the Pittsboro Roadhouse is hosting a Valentine's Day Dinner for Sweethearts with a specially chosen menu and a split of champagne. Carolina Lightnin' will be playing between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
In addition to the regular dinner menu which will also be available on February 14, guests can choose the special Valentine's Day Dinner for Sweethearts priced for two. The menu was carefully chosen to accommodate different eating preferences, including Steak, Chicken, Salmon, Tofu, and one Meat and Tofu-Free entree. They offer a Shared Appetizer for Two with three choices; a House Salad; a choice of five Entrees; and a Shared Dessert Sampler for Two with chocolate desserts. February 17, 2013 will mark the Pittsboro Roadhouse's 6th month anniversary since it opened August 17, 2012. The Pittsboro Roadhouse features a gifts and crafts shop, with handmade work from mostly local artisans, including pottery, elegant aprons, rugs, jewelry and paintings. They also have infused cooking oils, coffees, teas, and flavored sugars and salts. The restaurant space at 39 West Street includes a spacious front dining area with floor to ceiling windows, the gift shop, a spacious and bright lounge area with WIFI, and a rear dining area between the bar and the stage.
