E. Pat Larkins Center, 520 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd

10:00am

The Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will put shovels into the ground and celebrate the beginning of the redevelopment on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd with a ground breaking ceremony and reception on February 7th.

Guests will gather at the grounds just east of the E. Pat Larkins Community Center where the official groundbreaking will take place, followed by a reception in the auditorium of the Larkins Center, with lunch and refreshments served at 11am.

The groundbreaking on the MLK corridor is the first redevelopment event of the year, and is extremely important as the foundation for future developments in the NWCRA district. The plans for the MLK corridor include a full streetscape plan with design elements to allow for future retail and restaurant developments and will pave the way for the revitalization of the community.

To RSVP for this event, or for more information on the MLK Streetscape project, please call (954) 786-7824 or email shanna.benson@copbfl.com.
