'Miss Caribbean U.S.' Named New Webmaster At Historic Church

Feb. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Ms. Stacey Greene is named new webmaster for Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Greene is the current Miss Caribbean US 2012-2013 and serves as an official Ambassador to the Caribbean within the US. Greene is also a member of Mother Bethel AME Church and combines her passion for her church with her educational and professional expertise in the field of technology and information systems. Greene currently works as a System Analyst with one of the top Banking Institutions in the United States. She is a graduate of the Keller Graduate School of Management and DeVry University having earned a Master’s in Business Administration in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science (with honors) in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Database Management. As Mother Bethel’s Webmaster, Greene works to ensure the church’s online presence remains relevant and in line with the current technological landscape.  “We were fortunate to have another capable member take over where our former Webmaster left off,” says the Rev. Dr. Mark Tyler, Senior Pastor. Tyler added that Mother Bethel member Aaron Brooks helped launch the website and “did an excellent job in the position for the past 4 years and ensured that the hand-off was seamless and successful.”

A native of, St. Newtown and Green Valley Cayon Kitts, Stacey Greene is a young lady of faith and activism. In addition to volunteering at church, Greene works tirelessly for charitable groups including the March of Dimes and Easter Seals Disability Services in Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE. She is the Immediate Past President of the Panorama Toastmasters of Philadelphia, one of the official clubs of the Toastmasters International Public Speaking and Leadership Organizations.
