Kat Von D and Her Engagement Ring!

Feb. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Kat Von D’s engagement ring is generating a lot of buzz due to its unique design and Gothic influence. The tattoo artist and reality star is engaged to Deadmau5.

In a recent interview, Kat talks about her unique ring, “We wouldn’t want something boring that everybody else has. There’s nothing conventional about me or anything I do.” Well, we have our hopes up for an equally off-beat wedding dress. Will it be black with a skull headdress? Only time will tell.

The ring in question is made of a black diamond that is surrounded by platinum skulls. Yes, the ring has skulls on it!

Deadmau5 had popped the question on twitter on December 15 and Kat had said yes, also on twitter. Seems like perfect proposal for the technological age.

Her fiancé, Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 resonated Kat’s statement. When asked about the ring, he said, “She didn’t have a choice. That was all me. It’s her favorite company that makes the ring.” He called the inspiration behind the ring, “Black stuff”.

Meanwhile Kat seems to be totally in love with her ring, the tattoo artist, 30, is now gearing up for her wedding in 2013.

The couple was recently photographed shopping in West Hollywood and looking perfectly at ease with each other.
