This is what leads people to believe that most of the hate that “Salute Me” is getting isn’t coming from real haters of her music or attitude, but from people who are jealous of her. The song is of great quality and many of the haters do not seem to be able to critique good music. Ever since Latrina Blackberry released her first record, “Chocolate Crushes,” many aspiring artists under her became distant with her and began to put their guards up, seeing her as their competition rather than their multied-talented friend. With her new single, people seem to be unsure if she is going to break away from her music promotion roots and start over as a performer. Either way, it is only a matter of time before she is featured in the Source. The majority of her fan base seems to be in the south, most likely due to her unique, new era sound. With the launch of her Facebook page, it can be seen that many of her fans are also spread evenly among the west and east coasts. The Facebook page also features interviews and links to information on her song releases. She has a scheduled review to appear in Street Motivation Magazine and an interview on Hype Underground Radio (itshypeunderground.com) Latrina Blackberry plans to continue her music career, which is a tough decision considering she may be working around some unloyal people. If her next release tops “Salute Me” then she may have to shift her career managing others and focus on herself. No matter her choice, writing music will always be her passion. www.LatrinaBlackberryMusic.com www.twitter.com/ End
