Feb. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Thousand Oaks, Calif.--Conejo Valley Days (CVD) is offering school PTAs, booster clubs and nonprofit organizations an opportunity to earn money during this year's Conejo Valley Days festival (May 2 - 5, Conejo Creek Park South in Thousand Oaks). Signups for the fundraising opportunity are underway.

"CVD has offered community fundraisers in the past. This year, it's simple and all online," says Mary-Catherine McBride, CVD general co-chair.

Tickets for the 57th Annual CVD will go on sale in March. When a festivalgoer buys a CVD unlimited ride wristband from the CVD website and types in a participating organization's promo code, the organization will automatically earn $2 per wristband. After CVD is over, the organization's earnings will be totaled and the amount will be donated to the school PTA, booster club or nonprofit.

"In return, CVD asks that participating organizations hang a CVD banner at their school or organization site 10 days prior to the start of the festival and that they put a link to the CVD website on their website," says McBride. "The more an organization promotes the event and provides its promo code to its members or students, the more opportunity to raise money"
