March 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Chapel Hill, N.C. – Dan Dunlop, president and CEO of Jennings, the Chapel Hill healthcare marketing and audience engagement agency, presented at this year’s Physician Strategies Summit in Orlando, Fla.  The conference was held from Sunday, February 24 to Tuesday, February 26.  Dunlop presented “Integrating New Media into the Physician Marketing Mix” on Monday, Feb. 25.

“The summit is one of the leading conferences on physician relations,” said Dunlop. “I’ve always enjoyed the educational sessions, and I’m honored, once again, to have the opportunity to share my learning with other healthcare marketing professionals.”

Dunlop contributed to the lecture entitled “Integrating New Media into the Physician Marketing Mix,” alongside co-presenters Lyle Green, vice president of physician relations with The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and Tadd Pullin, vice president of marketing, planning, and network operations with The Nebraska Medical Center.  The presentation covered social media integration in hospital marketing strategies and fresh ideas to help engage today’s “social physician.”

The Summit, which occurred at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, provided healthcare professionals an opportunity to learn ways to identify strategies for enhancing physician and organizational performance.   It also provided attendees with tactics for assessing, strengthening and tracking physician-hospital relations through case studies and thought-provoking general sessions.  In addition, the conference identified proven approaches for increasing physician satisfaction, retaining physicians and generating referrals.
