Follow on Google News | Smart Tweezers LCR-meter Gains Greater Exposure in Russia with New AgreementA new agreement between Smart Tweezers LCR-meter creator Siborg Systems Inc. and Dipaul in St. Petersburg, further open the market in Russia and surrounding CIS countries.
Dipaul was established in 1990, is a wholesaler specializing in the supply of equipment, tools and consumables for the electronics industry. With two offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Dipaul has worked with Agilent Technologies, Teseq, Thermotron, Fluke, Dima, Mydata, Nordson Dage, and many others. Other clients include Samara Space Center, Loffe Institute, Russian Space Systems and Russian Federal Nuclear Center. "We provide test solutions from Agilent in Russia for a number of years," says the Project Manager at Dipaul, Alkexander Lyubimtsev, "and we appreciate how well Smart Tweezers LCR-meter compliments bench-type testers in a quick yet accurate evaluation of LCR-components." Smart Tweezers applications include production lines manufacturing electronics, to test solutions by research centers. Smart Tweezers is an essential tool when workign with Surface Mount Technology, ad compliments work done with conventional bench-type testers. Where bench-type testers are large and require both hands for setting-up and testing, Smart Tweezers are a lightweight, 2 oz. device that is easily operated with just one hand. The device was designed specifically for Surface Mount Technology, and features fully automatic measurements of Inductance (L), Capacitance (C) and Resistance (R) of all types of passive and through-hole components. A component identification is performed when the tweezers' tips come in contact with a component, and L, C or R measurements are then instantaneously available. Smart Tweezers also automatically measure for secondary parameters such as the Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) of a capacitor. Due to its patented mechatronic device, ST5 features low and well defined parasitics allowing the device to measure as low as 1 picofarad and 1 milliohm range when these parasitics are removed with the offset-subtraction feature. It is also able to measure as low as 1 microhenry while measure for Inductance, making it essential for radio electronics. Smart Tweezers are an innovative device perfect for PCB debugging and testing, on-board impedance testing, and component sorting that has been proven by the electronics industry to be a professional grade tool, indispensable for work with Surface Mount Technology.
