While there are many ways to address these problems, we believe that any lasting solution will have to include a theological challenge to discriminatory readings of the Qur’an. My sermon will look at some of the verses that affirm women’s equality, and offer a more egalitarian understanding of some of the verses that have been used to oppress women.” Columbus, OH – Friday, March 8th, 2013 – 1pm UU Church, 93 W Weisheimer, Room 7, Columbus, OH 43214 Pamela Taylor to lead prayer (Imam) For more information please visit: www.mpv-usa.org ### Muslims for Progressive Values (MPV) is a 501 (c) (3) founded in 2007.
