Follow on Google News | Novelist and Musician K.W. Bowlin Releases New Collection of Short StoriesNovelist K.W. Bowlin from Diamond Bar, California has published his second novel titled "Living and Dying in Shorts." It's a collection 24 short stories that examine life and death in family dramas, dark humor and historical adventures.
By: Utopian Realms Also a musician, Bowlin's band, "The Kelly Bowlin Band" won the 2006 Southern California Music Award for "Best Roots Rock," and toured the West Coast with Dwight Yoakam, and Junior Brown, and performed with Buddy Guy, The Spin Doctors, Soul Asylum, and Kansas. Bowlin's debut novel "The Mosquito Sting was released in 2012 (Ingram) and is a fictional tale about the worlds largest counterfeit operation, run by a cast of eccentric characters bent on saving Africa from the scourge of Malaria. Bowlin who is from from Diamond Bar, California and went to Walnut High School, is currently scheduling a four-state promotional tour of the book in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. He currently lives near Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife Mary. End
