All Tennessee churches are invited to enter the first annual family friendly racing event that helps kids get closer to GOD through America’s most popular sport … racing. NASCAR draws over 75 million fans in America with a purchasing power exceeding $3 billion annually. Racing is an exciting new way to reach young people in a positive way.

Tennessee churches are always looking for a positive way to inspire kids in our local communities. Through a series of races, adults and kids will collaborate in a competition to find out how’s the “fastest Pastor in Tennessee”. The winner of the Highland RIM Pastor Championship race gets $500 for their youth group, 2nd prize $300, 3rd $200 and 4th $100 prize. Let’s face it what kid or church member wouldn’t want to sit in a race car, smell the race track’s authentic competitive spirit and learn more about the science of auto engineering and how real race cars are built says Jerry Criswell, new owner of Highland RIM SpeedWay. There’s an old saying in racing; “Never drive faster than your guardian angel. Always live life a quarter mile at a time”, says local business owner and event supporter, James Rickman – www.iHumanEvolution.com  America has a rich tradition in auto racing dates back to 1895. (http://www.americaslibrary.gov/jb/progress/jb_progress_au...)  No other sport brings us closer to GOD than auto racing at the grassroots level with fierce competition.

Any denomination church can enter the “Faster Pastor Race” at the Highland RIM SpeedWay. The Pastors will be racing 4 cylinder race cars for 10 laps in the qualifications and 20 laps in the Championship race. It’s a hands-on event that gets kids away from the computer out into that crisp fresh air to get a taste of authentic racing. Heavy emphasis among church members is mentoring kids towards a positive relationship with GOD. The racing experience is a great tool to help build character in the youth of our community says Mr. Criswell. We should all support unique new ways to give back to our kids bringing our communities closer.

The Pastor of each church entering the competition will receive 10 FREE youth tickets. Grandstand admission for all church members is just $5 each. All proceeds go towards helping to support this Tennessee church event. Kids will be able to sit inside model race cars, learn about the engines and how their built and watch the competitive racing cheering on their church Pastor. No alcohol will be served at the event but soda, hot dogs and burgers will be sold in the concession stands.

Churches are allowed to hand out printed materials, and church bulletins. Any senior Pastor and youth Pastor can enter the Highland RIM SpeedWay, Faster Pastor Race. This is a family fun event in the spirit of faith and honest competition.
