El Paso County Attorney Timothy Bussey Featured in Colorado Springs Style Magazine

According to the publication, in the 1800s, there were just nine buildings serving as courthouses in El Paso County, CO. During prohibition, these courthouses held quite a few trials for “people making bathtub gin.” In just 30 years, there were about 2,700 attorneys in Colorado, all of whom were general practitioners.

In the early days, an attorney would start out doing it all and then decide what areas he was best at.
